About the test
Our skills and motivations lead us unto different paths in life. Different genes and different environments leads to different strengths and different personalities. Some of us become seekers; some of us become achievers; some of us become conservers; and some of us become depleted.
The more you know yourself, the easier it is to accept yourself.
It is also easier to change, when you are aware of what your “shortcomings” are.
This test uses Ryff’s Psychological scales for Environmental Mastery (EM) and Personal Growth (PG), to identify your current path of adult development. It is based on how much you agree with 12 statements about you, where a 1 means you do not agree at all and a 6 means you fully agree. A 5 means you almost fully agree.
There are three types of development of positive mental health. Achievers score high on both EM and PG; Conservers score high on EM and low on PG; and Seekers, which score low on EM and high on PG. There is a final type of mental health development called the depleted, which scores low on both scales.
